We live in a time of contagion. From infectious diseases to financial collapse, from demonstrations to the millennium bug, these days there are more conditions than ever for contagion to happen. Today, even an idea can go... viral.

viral is an interactive exhibition that explores what contagion is and how it works, revealing biological and social phenomena and examining its impact on our lives.

This exhibition was created by the Pavilion of Knowledge - Ciência Viva Centre in cooperation
with Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie, in Paris, France, and Heureka, in Helsinki, Finland.

Visit. Be part of the phenomenon.

Pavilion of Knowledge - Ciência Viva Centre

Audiences

An exhibition for families, schools and adults. For people who are online and those who are offline. For the infectious, the infected and even the immune. This exhibition is also accessible to visitors with special needs.

The exhibition has 25 exhibits, divided into five areas. In each area, visitors explore contagion through a narrative that covers a variety of phenomena, including biology, epidemiology and public health, network science, psychology and social sciences.
More than just an exhibition, viral is a positive, fun and... contagious experience!
