DESCRIPTION: Ocean.Now! collective project with the artist Swaantje Guntzel, author of the work Microplastics and Microplastics II, in which the artist wears a face mask made of microplastics. For this exhibition, people were photographed by Ocean Lovers wearing a mask made of microplastics collected on several beaches around the world over a period of 5 months.

DESCRIPTION: Finding Arcadia is a prototype being developed by researchers at the Interactive Technologies Institute (ITI-LARSyS), Instituto Superior Técnico, to improve interaction and communication about climate change data. This project shows the importance of the ocean and marine ecosystems for global climate and CO2 capture, with a special focus on whales as an integral part of that ecosystem.

DESCRIPTION: The prototype of a 3D model designed to clean plastics from the ocean entitled "8th CONTINENT" by Lenka Petráková will be on display in the Pavilion of Knowledge – Ciência Viva Centre exhibition area. This prototype received the Jacques Rougerie Foundation's Grand Prize for Ocean Architecture and Innovation in 2020.
