VIRAL

Temporary Exhibition
Until 25 April 2021

KNOWLEDGE is our greatest ally. This is an exhibition about the power of science. About the multiple sides of contagion and its impact on our lives.

What is contagion? How to control a pandemic? Why is it so important to wash your hands? What is the contribution of scientists to stop the pandemic? What is the role of citizens and society? How can resilience help us get through this chapter?

VIRAL returns to the Pavilion of Knowledge with updated
content on COVID-19.

Through 24 interactive modules, discover how to infect a crowd with your dance rhythm and learn that there are yawns and laughter that infect us. Dare to catch a gang of innocent air bacteria and viruses and meet the greatest contagion agent in the world.

VIRAL was produced by the Pavilion of Knowledge in collaboration with the museums Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie (Paris) and Heureka (Helsinki) and can be visited until February 2021.

Did you know?

This was one of the most visited exhibits ever in our museum, requested by several European science centres and seen by more than two million people?

Award

VIRAL was considered by the Exploratorium of San Francisco (USA) and the Center for Advancement of Informal Science Education (CAISE) as one of the most notable exhibitions of 2016.
