Come and celebrate your birthday in a different and surprising way! Bring your friends to the Pavilion of Knowledge – Ciência Viva and learn a bit more about science, while you are having fun! We will prepare a birthday party and we will even have a surprise for you: a new friend - @rrobinha!

PROGRAMME B - Children aged 7 and 8 years old

• The Pirates´ spell
  Following a number of tips and with the help of a map, our pirates will have to navigate in various oceans (exhibitions) and pass from various islands (interactive exhibits) until the reach the treasure arc. In these islands they will do experiments related to the 4 elements: earth, air, water and fire.

PROGRAMME C - Children 9 years old or more

• Take a walk with science
  Science is, among other things, a vast world of challenges. We propose a special game: “Hanging around with Science”. Discover the Pavilion of Knowledge – Ciência Viva through this game. You will have to solve various challenges and the tip that will take to the last challenge will be hidden deep into the Pavilion…

Rules:

• Parties are held on Saturdays, Sundays and on public holidays. Each group may choose either the morning period (from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.) or the afternoon period (from 3.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.), which include the tour and snack-time.
  
  
• The party begins with the tour; the activities are pre-booked according to the age of the children. The snack is provided by the Pavilion and includes sandwiches, salty hors d’oeuvres, chips, pudding, jellies, popcorn, mints, juice and cakes. It does not include the birthday cake, which must be brought by the birthday boy/girl.
  
  
• The price is :
  Up to 10 participants: €140
  From 11 to 15 participants: €170
  From 16 to 20 participants: €220
  
  
• The minimum number of children is 10 and the maximum 20. There must be one responsible adult for every 10 children. Entrance is free for two adults.
  
  
• There is a charge of €10 for children that were not included in the initial booking.
  
  
• The snack will be prepared for the maximum number of people expected.
  
  
• There may be two simultaneous parties. Each group should limit itself to the space it has been allocated, in order to guarantee the privacy of the other group. There can be no more that 22 people per group in the snack area.
  
  
• Bookings are made by phone (218 917 100) or e-mail (info@pavconhecimento.pt), Monday to Friday from 9.30 to 18.30, with a deposit of €50 payable within one week of the phone booking. The non-payment of this deposit will imply the immediate cancellation of the booking. In the event of cancellation, the deposit will only be refunded if the Pavilion is informed of the cancellation up to 15 days before the date of the party. The balance is payable on the day of the party when the group arrives.
  
  
• Entrance and exit times must be strictly observed. The group must behave as a group i.e. arrive together, eat together and leave together and it should keep the room clean (avoid dirtying tables and chairs or throwing things on the floor).
  

Note:

Non-compliance with the regulations or behaviour that the Pavilion staff considers inappropriate may lead to the party being suspended.
